2014 TPMC’S BADMINTON MATCH---- Wonderful not to be missed.

On Oct. 18th, 2014, a badminton match was held in Haotian Gym . All TPMC member was divided into two teams, one is Supply Chain, the other is United . All of us had great fun in this match.
For preparation, we practice every other day and discussed about our strategy under the instruction of the team leader. During the match, athletes played really well, winning spectators’  continuous applaud.  Finally, Supply Chain won the match at 3:2.
The active participation of each player makes this game more interesting and meaningful. Through this activity, not only our staffs ‘ mutual understanding was promoted, but also  the unity of our company is improved.

This weekend the staff of TPMC are going to move into the new office in Beichen Building. All equipments are prepared and the new office is opened for occupancy. 

The Outdoor Training of Climbing Limu Tai Mountain in Ji County

At 8:00 am of June 28, 2014, colleagues from Tianjin Profound Steel Trade Co., Ltd. drove to the famous scenic zone Limu Tai ----a wonderland in her thousand year’s sleep underground. Departing from One-Line-Sky, we climbed all the way to the mountaintop, and then returned to the foothill, spending altogether eight hours. All the way up, there are canyons and peak forests, magnificent and steep; creeks, ponds, and waterfalls splashing green waves; vines twining and pines standing; rocks and stones bespreading as a sea; long roads with ginkgos lining on each side. In this climbing activity, the staff practiced physical exercise, learned the knowledge of ecology and landscape, cultivated temperament, enhanced unity, cooperation and cohesion among employees, and promoted TPMC to be a more harmonious team.

ABS Stainless Steel Pipe &Cap Project

In February 2014, TPMC started the procurement of stainless steel pipes and caps according to Lebanon customer’s requirement. In June 2014, TPMC finished the production on time with quality and quantity assured. On the eve of delivery, the customer temporarily required to deliver goods partly through air cargo and the rest by sea transportation from other port. We timely met customer’s requirement and won customer’s ultimate affirmation.

From May 12th to 13th, 2014, Purchasing Department colleague of TPMC went on a business trip to Jiangyin mixer & steel manufacturers, and especially investigated the Xingcheng Steel Company which is Central enterprise.

From May 12th to 13th, 2014, our Purchasing Manager was away on business to Jiangyin and visited blender, steel manufacturers. The manager successively visited and inspected Jiangsu Chifeng Electric Power, the central enterprise Xingcheng Special Steel, Jiangyin Petroleum & Chemical, Xinghua Spark Special Steel.

New company personnel regulation is carried out today.

The new Code of company employees was being perfected in the past few days and was supposed to come out before May 20^th. Today it is being released.The new enterprise culture and rules are  made out by amending the old one and adding new regulations, defining the definite responsibilities of various departments, requiring departments performing their duties exactly and efficiently, doing their best. The new payment system is added with the performance appraisal, employee ratings and other rating criteria. New employees’ code will be carried out on trial in June, and be formally implemented in July. I believe, by then, the company will be operated more efficiently.

Learning Activity on Thursday

The weekly discussion activity is arranged to be held at 5:00 pm. The company staff will watch a video about the first section of Foreign Trade Process to improve professional knowledge. There are two topics to be discussed: TPMC’s first edition of remuneration system in 2014 and the inner layout of the new office. Everyone can voice opinions.

On May 9th, 2014, we invited engineers coming to TPMC office for negotiation. Engineers are from reputed crane manufacturer, and they plan to visit Bangladesh for installation & commissioning of our TPMC supplied cranes.

Global Steel Output Slipped in January

Raw steel production declined slightly from December 2013 to January 2014, falling 0.4% to total 129.8 million metric tons in the 65 countries covered by the World Steel Association’s monthly tally. That new total was 0.4% less than the result for January 2013.
The same group reported that raw steel capacity utilization during January 2014 rose 0.2% from December to 74.4%, which was 2.5% lower than during January 2013.
The Brussels-based World Steel Assn. maintains raw-steel production and capacity utilization data from its members in 65 nations, which it reports on a monthly basis. Raw (or “crude”) steel is the primary output of electric arc furnaces and basic oxygen furnaces, prior to metallurgical refining and casting into semi-finished products, such as slabs, blooms, or billets. The report includes data on carbon and carbon alloy steel output; stainless steels and other specialty alloy steels are not included.
The most surprising figure in the January report is the continuing cuts in China’s raw steel output.

Business Trip to Bangladesh

During Mar.10 to 14, 2014, three engineers of TPMC went to Bangladesh for a 5-days business trip. The main purpose of the trip is negotiating with steel factory about the detail demands about a new mechanical project. Both sides deeply discussed some technical issues and design specification, and signed commercial contract with satisfaction of each other.

Meanwhile, we provide after-sale service of the goods supplied before carefully, helping to solve the difficulties encountered by customers during usage timely.

At last, TPMC engineers visited West Marine Shipyard, to maintain the previous supplied goods and talked over the cooperation of new project.

Marketing Training And Working Out In The Gym

As the saying in China: It is always good to have a friend coming from afar, we have five friends coming last Saturday. One of them, Ms. Huang, who is a professional Marketing trainer, gave us a lecture about how to be a specialized salesman to gain more customers, from which we learned a lot.

And we also worked out in the gymnasium to play badminton together, everyone of us enjoy the badminton-time.
